That’s good return for a guy we wouldn’t be able to afford. Thank you Ross, go be great.

Wow. I called Colton getting traded last week but guessed it would be a 5th or 6th round pick. Pick 37 is great work by JBB.

He was gone no matter what. At least now we get to draft before round 6.

Wonder what his price is gonna be on a new deal. Surprised we couldn’t flip him for a young, cheap roster player. Wouldn’t surprise me to see him pot thirty goals at some point, but he seemed so inconsistent here.

I had Ross pegged as like a 3rd and 4th, getting a high second is gravy. JBB and the boys probably have a couple guys they’re targeting

2nd round pick? Hell of a return.

Maybe we can snag Gavin Brindley with that pick. He’s on the smaller side so maybe he drops out of 1st round. He’s a top 3 skater in the draft. Kinda a Gourde type. Was almost a point per game as a freshman in NCAA. He would immediately become our best prospect.

  8. So how much are we gonna have to cough up for Jeannot? I assume with this move we’re choosing to pay him over Colton.

JBB looking at that draft pick like “what the hell is this thing?”

Fuck man I hate this. I understand the business side of things but I really liked Colton

Sad to see Colton go but he’ll be great anywhere and we really didn’t have the budget for him

Whoever we pick at 37 thats my guy right there THATS MY GUY!!!

Cap casualty. He was good but just disappeared for long stretches. I always liked him and am happy he helped bring home 2 cups. This moves probably helps us try to keep Killorn.

  14. I was assuming it would be a late 3rd at best so I’ll take it. Wish the cap would go up so we didn’t have to lose him and killer though

  15. HouseOfCards1234

FUCK. Would have rather lost Killer tbh

  16. Sven9888

I didn’t want Colton to go but this might mean we’re keeping Killorn.

We have become masters at ripping off Montreal. I feel like some of their issues for the last 5+ years have been directly related to Lightning trades. Keep it up!

Bummer! It was so cool having a guy from nearby Robbinsville, NJ on my NHL team. Still going to get one of my blank jerseys customized with #79 in the near future.

Imma cry. This sucks. We’re giving up all of our stars. And while I understand this is what happens after a run like we’ve had, it still hurts. Fresh faces next season, I suppose.

I felt Colton always put in 110%, he will be missed.
