Good job Chevy
And Habs fans pretending they never wanted Dubois is so funny
For just pld?
That is a very good trade for the Jerts.
Harkins survives the night
Robbed Blake
chevy may be frustrating at times but he sure knows how to make some big trades
He did it.
Hope we throw Harkins in with another one of our upcoming trades. Poor guy needs a fresh start
Montreal’s 2nd pick 🤣🤣🤣🤣. It’s hilarious how the Canadiens are involved somehow, given the circumstance that PLD wants to end up in Montreal.
Shit off! This is an excellent return for a guy who would have been literally unusable here
We aren’t sending anyone else??
One of the tenures of all time
Kinda wanted Byfield, but ill take what we get
The entire sub needs to apologize to Chevy (again).
Hopefully we can get some contract extensions on Iafallo and Vilardi.
CheveldayON yo!
Does anyone know why PLD was ok with LA? Seemed like it was Montreal or bust and I thought this was primarily due to the French connection.
Habs fans btfo
AI, Vilardi, Kupari and a 2024 2nd, what a fucking HAUL!!!
Like I am not gonna say LA got fleeced cause PLD is a monster but they kinda got fleeced.
Stanley lives another day lmao.
3 in CBJ
3 in WPG
Let’s see if he lasts over 3 years in LA 😉
Now if we could only shake off 55!
Absolute masterclass for Chevy. Both Vilardi and Iafallo are fantastic players and a 2nd on top of that is great. I don’t think Kupari is that good but at 23 a change in scenery could be what he needs. Great haul for a player who didn’t want to be here.

Good riddance Kermit!
I’m just glad this is finally over.
All things considered thats not bad at all
I have never doubted Chevy.
Meanwhile, all the ass clown, smoked meatheads that were offering a bag of pucks for Dubois can start ordering their Newhook jerseys instead.
Goodbye PLD. Was only a Jet 2 and a half years but quickly became my favorite player. We’ll miss you!
Just kidding
Dubois already requested a trade from LA
This is not what Canadiens fans meant by their 2nd rounder
Hopefully Vilardi signs long term
This Iafalo guy seems like quite the fellow.
Technically the Habs fans were right, it was for a Habs 2nd RD pick lol
Chevy does it again
More power to him, I’d sign for 8.5 a year too and live in California vs Winnipeg if I could. How’s the package were getting back you guys think? I’ve been following casually ever since the pandemic…
Almost seems like a trade you’d make in… fantasy hockey…
That’s about as good as I could reasonably expect coming out of this situation. Now do 55.
Chevy getting a lot of praise for this and rightly so. He’s done a masterful job turning lemons into lemonade when his back has been against the wall and he’s been forced to move prominent guys he would have rather kept.
Having said that, some of the other criticisms that dog him are well deserved. He’s too reluctant to deal prospects when their path to the roster is blocked by other players, and also reluctant to move guys to clear those blockages. He seems to prefer to let prospects die on the vine than risk seeing them thrive elsewhere, so is never willing to trade guys while they still have value.
So basically, he does incredibly well when his hand is forced, but won’t do anything UNLESS his hand is forced. Over the next few days, we’ll see how committed he truly is to refreshing this roster in a meaningful way
Kings fan here…
I heard this was going to happen, but damn, I’m going to miss Iafallo and Kupari. Kupari has some great speed and handles the puck really well. And Iafallo, well, he’s been very consistent. Yeah he’s had stretches of not scoring but the intangibles are always there. I hope they very well for you guys…
