WAY, WAY, WAY too much. Even if Hanifin was signed long term at a good price, it's still too much. I am not trading #13 this year for any veteran defenseman like Hanifin or Pesce. There are too many good prospects this year with SIZE !!!
PLUS we haven't even had a chance yet to sign a free agent like Orlov or Dumba. Why make an expensive trade when we might get the guy we need for free??? I fully agree we need to find a 2nd pair RD, but not at your suggested price.
Besides, we only need Hanifin or someone like him for 2 or 3 years.

Only problem with Hanifen is he's another left shot D man. Our top 3 are already left shot. We need a right shot D on our top 4.
