Locking Aho up to 8 years really solidifies a strong core moving forward. I will guess the number is $9.5-10 million.
Aho, Svechnikov, Kotkaniemi and Kochetkov are pieces to build around. Having zero bad contracts and competent management will have the Canes extending that window for as long as they can stay smart (and a little lucky).
