What a bunch of snoozer signings.
I think that we can forgive Kershaw for those last few starts in May I mean it's tough enough to deal with losing your mom and then to go and attempt to pitch against MLB players isn't easy. I think 3-5 starts (about 2-4 weeks) is a grace period for ball players to struggle with that loss. Kershaw got his mind right again and should be back to form soon
Put Philips as closer. Graderol 6 or 7th , Almonte 7th or 8th. Fregenson. 7th or 8th. S Miller 8th and 9th.
Sweep. If 1 player comes through it’s a success.
So basically the Dodgers called up Deluca to be nothing more than a platoon vs left handers… he has 40 HR and 30 SB 3 CS in his last 570 ABs with only 111 strike outs and he is being debuted as a once or twice a weak platoon? It’s bs like this why Urias and so many other Dodgers players can’t wait to leave the team in free agency . They don’t care about what is best for the player, they are willing to sacrifice their career for what is best in the short term. Even when they are 20 games ahead in first place like last year with Urias

I believe we have the 28th or 29th ranked bullpen ERA. Blowing 5 run leads is beyond unacceptable. It's embarrassing and spirt crushing. At this point, starting pitching concerns don't even matter. That bullpen will throw away quality start after quality start. I don't see a way out of this mess. It's literally painful to watch

I have been a massive Dodgers fan my entire life but there are two teams that if my son were drafted by them I would tell them to go back to college and try the draft again next year.. Those two teams are the Dodgers and the Rockies. The Rockies because I think the thin air really messes with a player’s development. The Dodgers because they don’t care about what is best for a young player. They don’t allow young players to struggle and go through the development process. They either show up fully developed or the Dodgers try and hide the player’s weakness by platooning them rather than developing them
