The New York Islanders still need a puck-moving defenseman. Today we look at two candidates to fill that need and how GM Lou Lamoriello may acquire them and fit them under the salary cap. One of the two players could even help solve the Josh Bailey dilemma which would certainly be a welcome move for all concerned.

Very disappointed that we didnt throw out an offer for Durzi. Lee for Krug, Bailey for Barrie … Bad contract for Bad contract … couldve gotten a boatload for Nelson for Colorado, but Mr Magoo was too slow to the punch.
As lou sits on his ass trotz made his first move as pred gm basically trading johannson to av's for free to escape $ 4 mil. of albatross contract next two years by eating $ 4 mil. to do the deal. Trotz took back the useless ufa to be galchenyck in the deal. Trotz learned something from lou. Albatross contracts to over 30 players are no good. Lou should trade half of lee's deal for nobody just to rid isles of it. And ek65 has asked for a trade. sj will move him to the team of his choice that is a cup contender.
