I'm a big fan of Byram. I really wish Vancouver was able to pick him up, but in my eyes he's the #3 guy in this draft

Ive seen a lot of mock drafts where he falls to Detroit at 6. I would be thrilled, as we got shafted in the lottery and should be picking 2nd or 3rd or even drafting Hughes, but I would love it if Byram fell to us, I just don't see it, though.

Good point toward the end about good interviews given a fsir bit of weight with GMs. I'm pretty sure that's what tipped it for Kotkaniemi being taken by Montreal which was a controversial move when it happened.

I’ve watched him play against the PG cougars. He is a beaut! Skating A+ moves the puck better than what I had heArd. But plays a lot like a vlasic with a boumeester edge

With Chicago trading Kahun for Olli Maata and Colorado’s lack of forward depth, I think Bowen Byram will fall to LA at 5
I'd rather see Byram on the ice next season with the Blackhawks than hearing about Turcotte's progress at U-W. Put Maatta on the penalty kill where he is needed most.
Byram may of had the best season but in a couple of years he may the 3rd or 4th best defensemen from this draft. Guys like Seider, Broberg and Soderstrom were playing in mens leagues and were going through that adjustment instead of racking up points against boys. I'm a Red Wings fan and I would rather they take the most talented forward than Byram. Moritz Seider will be the biggest steal of this draft.
