Suzuki has a 50% shootout scoring percentage, which puts him 16th of all time in NHL Career shootout scoring percentage. He is also 2 for 2 in penalty shots in his career. This season Suzuki is 5 for 7 in shootouts and 1 for 1 in penalty shots. Suzuki has become known for doing the Datysuk flip shot move on the goalies glove side.
