  1. I’m just glad Buffalo didn’t trade with Rangers, dislike them! Krappo Kakko zero points in 6 games(3rd season). Wouldn’t want any trash they have

  2. Vegas has so many old guys signed long term, they will fall apart soon and Eichel will cry again

  3. Buffalo didn't get that much? I think they got a lot for a locker room cancer with a broken neck. Idk…

  4. If this works for Vages it would be good if not they have 10 years of cap problem. The Sabers did well in this trade

  5. Conspiracy theory :

Sabres are gonna win the 2022 NHL draft lottery.
Bettman NEEDED a story bigger than the blackhawks scandal, so it's likely he called the Sabres & VGK to grease the wheels on the eichel trade, which was finalised coincidentally (sarcasm) only days after his trainwreck of a press conference.

    Thoughts?

  6. I think that the Flames rumor was bogus. I agree, Lego. The return the Sabres got was so-so. Remember that the pressure is on Vegas to get Eichel healthy and win the cup. If Eichel doesn’t get back to his 2019 self and the G Knights are getting bumped in the 2nd round of the playoffs the next few years, then they’ve taken a step backwards

  7. I did really want Eichel to end up in Vegas, but it would have been sick to see McDavid vs Eichel in the Battle Of Alberta.

  8. great trade for Buffalo, stacked draft coming in 2022, so hopefully its not a bottom 10 pick or else its a 2023 pick. Vegas better win soon cause that team isnt getting any younger. Expect more moves to come cause they will have cap issues moving forward, maybe they move expiring UFA contracts like R. Smith at the deadline.

  9. I’m a buffalo fan and I can’t tell you how disappointed I was that buffalo lost the draft lottery in 2015, after seeing Edmonton have 3 first overal picks in the past four years I was like surely we are gonna get Mcdavid but even with worse odds the oilers get a franchise after 5 years of trying to draft the best player

  10. I bet the sabres let rumors get out about "Calgary's offer" and thats why vegas traded a second for a third, to sweeten the deal.

  11. I'm just Glad Eichel is gone from Buffalo. Buffalo looks like they are just fine without him and a mini rebuild ks definitely possible here

  12. Teams, agents, and players leak stuff to the media to help with the negotiation process. Krebs seems to be a good young talent and they have some picks. Also, there is no guarantee that Eichel will be the same player after the surgery, but if he is, wow, Vegas is going to be a really good team.

  13. I'll miss Tuch. Krebs…. still needs time to develop more, so we'll see a year from now how it pans out.
We will probably tank tank tank for a couple months….. can't wait for next season! Go Knights Go!

  14. I think this was small due to buffalo being backed against the wall. Eichel is still sort of a liability with the coming surgery and he stated he wanted out. This was a lose-lose scenario for buffalo. Given all of that drama, I think they did pretty well

  15. GREAT! just what we wanted to see here in the pacific, an elite center going to VEGAS…..

  16. renaud lavoie from tvasports tweeted alex tuch as alex touch🤣🤣🤣 the tweet has been deleted though but still funny

  17. shocking thought: anybody wondering what chicago is thinking about all this?

  18. lol I'm convinced the Sabres can never do anything right in the eyes of outsiders. For months, All I heard was there's no way we are getting Krebs from fans (who will be better than Zegras BTW) and we finally got him. Tuch is a beast when healthy and instantly the canucks best winger and a former 1st rd pick (sorry nucks fans). Rare combo of size, speed and 20+ goal scoring. Plus a 1st. So the Sabres ending up getting 3 1st rd assets and a 2nd instead of 4 is it really worth it to crap of the sabres again?? SMH

  19. vegas got fleeced lol gave up their best prospect and a first and more just for eichel lol

  20. Finally! Kings should have been in on this trade could have gave Buffalo better prospects🤦🏻‍♂️

  21. It really is funny how some Sabre fans thought Jack was going to give them 4 elite first round talent assets in return his return isn’t that bad with all things considered

  22. This trade blows, Tuch is crazy important to Vegas. Eichel is not better than Tuch, Eichel does not fit Vegas style of play. Vegas had that 2012 LA Kings vibe going, cept they could light the lamp. We shall see

  23. The trade is great for both sides. I feel Tuch is so undervalued in the league that it’s getting overlooked

  24. Cost a lot to Vegas to get a locker room cancer. Tuch, Krebs, Ostlund, a 2nd and had to move Paccioretty for nothing.
