He’s my favorite Flyer. I just got a brand new Laughts jersey last season. But you gotta take the deal I think. This would give us 3 1sts this season, we’d get 3 great prospects infected into a prospect pool that needs good players. Fuck, I’d miss him though

I really hope that isn’t true. I don’t know if he’s got Torts in his ear telling him that he wants Laughts and Konecny back next season or if there’s a bidding war going on and he holds out for more assets. A 1st and 2nd for him is great value.

There is just absolutely no logical reason not to take a 2023 1st and an additional 2nd for a 29 year old middle six forward. I understand holding out to see if there’s a better offer later, but if the rest of this offseason plays out and Laughton stays put knowing this offer was on the table… yeah that’d be a massive L for Briere
