I think it was just unlucky. It didn't look like Reilly was trying to hit him into the boards, rather I believe he was trying to engage in a physical battle to try to overpower Point, and Point just caught an edge and went down awkwardly
Poor timing. Fighting for the puck and blew a tire. This wasn't intentional. Sometimes bad things happen in sports. IE: Both times that a skate has contacted a players throat it wasn't intentional. Shhhit likee this happens.

Wasn't necessarly dirty but was completely unecessary! High speed why finish that check near the boards? That is why so many hockey players are injured; they are all dumba**ses if they aren't cross checking each other in the face they are doing things like this.
