It's a win all day adding a quality D-man over another draft pick.
Very impressed with Hronek. Its interesting when you can tell you have a stud on your hands from the first 30 seconds that a player steps on the ice. He is the real deal and the Canucks have found themselves a probably the best 1 2 punch in the league. I say that with no disrespect to the other teams in the league but having Quinn Hughes and Filip Hronek as your top 2 defencemen is a massive step forward for the Canucks. After seeing Hronek play his first game a first round and second round pick is a steal for the Canucks! I didn't even know who Hronek was before the Canucks made the trade for him. I think that is why there was so much negativity towards this trade but just one look baby was all it took! We will make the playoffs next year!
