0, if current owner can’t find a new arena it will be sold to the Suns new owner and play in downtown Phoenix.
shmoove_cwiminal
Really good since they will have no home pretty soon.

Pretty good. If you need a new team come join r/chihawks

They won’t be sold to the Suns. The downtown arena is not suitable for NHL hockey, that’s why they wound up in Glendale to begin with. Bettman will allow the current owner to continue scrambling around for any deal he can get in Arizona, the Coyotes have basically become his legacy project. The league has put $250 million of its own money in over the last decade or so and doesn’t want to abandon the market. They have three more years on their lease at Mullett Arena but will have to move quickly to identify a new site, wrangle with politicians and get shovels in the ground. Personally I think this is a fool’s errand, but Bettman will fight tooth and nail to prevent a relocation.

What are the odds Gary Bettman decided to retire? Both will go hand in hand.
Shiny_Mew76
I’d say 45%. We have seen how committed the NHL is to keeping them around, but they are running out of options. One side has got to give eventually.

I hope it is high.

They’re moving to San Diego next weekend.

Personally, I think a team in AZ is a neat idea. But the problem is this team has been plagued with issues since day 1. I think that the possibility of moving is not out of the realm of possibility, but as of right now, I would like to see what happens next season as to what the front office can try to get approved in their current area.

With this ownership group? 50/50 With Ishbia as an owner? They won’t go anywhere. A man can dream.
But seriously, they’re running out of time and options quickly. They need one of these to hit. I can’t help but feel like they’re going to mess it up after the unforced errors with Tempe.

Rams owner is making push to move them to San Diego

Out of curiosity and to rid my ignorance on the details, would Tuscon ever come up for a potential landing spot to keep them in the state? Seems like the city is plenty large enough for support and the Coyotes have their AHL team there.

…. to a high school basement? Probably pretty good while Gary’s still around.

Should be 100% as the correct answer, but Bettman is still around. Just terrible for the league as a whole going forward.

Good. To Grand Forks North Dakota

Not great enough. The Arizona franchise is a embarrassment. Lots of Cities that would support a franchise and bettman wants to give it another year. Joke Commissioner
