Ho hum. That is just typical off-season business for a gm. An insurance move for when mayfield walks. Wake me up when lou actually makes a move to get a goal scorer. Which will be never. Lou wont even be able to snag vt who would only cost cap $$$'s.
You know, As much as I want improvements, It has to be 15-20+pt type. If we can't get players that can make it happen, id rather not waste our few young guys, picks or crucial cap space for less than a few points more than last season. This isn't the right time. Next summer and the following should be the focus. Better free agents, more $ off the books too. Need to be TACTICAL, SMART and have a FREAKING PLAN!
Lou could really take some heat off himself by giving some insight on his plan! Us NYI fans, hearing that from Lou, we'd have a little more patience and it'll help keep our panic level below depth con 10! What say you Sir Gil Mart?
I like Samy. We need to give these kids a chance. I feel he's going to be better than we thought. Of course he'll make mistakes but the upside is worth the growing pains. We're going to bring in a stay at home, responsible OLDER D partner for Samy. Don't need to be an "insider" to realize that Samy needs some protection.
