The wings fan base needs to calm down. Yzerman is one of, if not the best GM in the league. He has a track record of success. Just stay the course. You'll be a monster group in time.
I'm a lifelong Penguins fan, and I have one of those old/new Flyers jerseys. Was a big Recchi fan and wanted a Flyers jersey when he was traded to Philly, back in the day. I was never on board with that fanatical hatred for a rival team.
I admire Mario Lemeiux as much it's it's possible to admire any pro athlete. And the Pens are the only pro sports team I've ever truly loved. But not to the point where someone in a Flyers jersey is automatically my mortal enemy. Some playful ribbing is fine. But too many people take it way too personally, and take it way too far.
The Flyers jersey is an improvement over the neon orange but not as good as the 80s/90s jersey.
As far as Lundqvist being in the HOF, what exactly did he do to warrant induction over other players who won cups and other trophies but get overlooked year after year?

New Flyers jerseys look beautiful. So much cleaner in design.
The Flyers were one of the "nice" teams that Bossy got to regularly play against.
Detroit is in build-mode. Goes hush-hush on moving up to get Michkov (Draper), but not planning to trade 9th pick, 'member the difference in roles. There's no guaranteed plan to making Cup team. Colorado's trade for Cameron/Lorimer in '83 for 3rd overall pick, leading NYI to get Lafontaine, Detroit to get Yzermann, otherwise one of these guys becomes a New Jersey Devil pushing Muller potentially back in 1984.

The black numbers on the sleeves just looks wrong
So when I watch a Flyers game this year, I'll have regular commercials. Ads on the ice, Ads in the stands, Ads on the boards that flash and change. CGI Ads on the glass, Powerplays named after companies, in net cameras named after companies, gambling ads during the game in between whistles, our in house announcers running Ads for cars, AND Ads on the Jerseys.
It's becoming extremely difficult to remain interested

Its fine, the flyers jersey, i dont hate it with the exception that i do wish it was still orange numbers on the sides and that damned advertisement, thought we would keep avoiding that… but if its on the ones we buy, then im glad fanatics has the deal because i wasnt going to buy one of theirs and with an ad i definitely wont consider changing my mind
I hate when teams swap two stripes on a jersey and call it new. They should just bring back the early 2000s jerseys. The black ones with white shoulders and orange trim were the best.
Yzerman said last year at that end of a presser his aim is to speak to the press hordes, and come out without really saying anything. I saw the whole presser. He was once again, not really tipping his hand as to what Detroit will do at the draft or in free agency. You don't know whether he keeps or trades the 9th and 17th picks, trades up or down. All you should expect from him on draft day is to be prepared to be surprised. Expect the unexpected with this management.

Mogilny deserves to be in the Hall. Only six players have scored more than 75 goals in a season and the other five are already in the Hall of Fame.

Man SO CLOSE to having it perfect for the Flyers imo. Personally I think the shoulders on the home should be black instead of white but very glad to see them return to the burnt orange at least.

Just say “no” to Fanantics jerseys. You’ll end up with a Flyers jersey an a logo that’s upside down, or the Penguins logo with the orange and black.

Lol would never buy a phlyers jersey and if someone bought me one, I would be forever grateful for the gift, but it would be buried in my closet with the close that will never fit again and never see the light of day and would be no where NEAR my Rangers jerseys, might not even be in the same room. Put it in the spider closet, with plastic to protect it cuse it was a gift, but somewhere I don't visit because, like I said, spider closet.
fyi to the military personal buying houses, to my knowledge of friends in the Canadian military, they get housing stipends, so its almost always in your favour to buy houses because the government essentially builds your equity for free with there housing payments they give you. Also cover most moving costs etc. Not 100% sure but thats what i have been told by a few military acquaintances

The talk about Sebastian Cossa getting the Red Wings backup job puzzles me. He spent all but 3 games in the ECHL last season. With Brattstrom and Nedeljkovic gone, I would think he would have a great opportunity to play big minutes for Grand Rapids as their starter rather than playing maybe 30 games behind Ville Husso in Detroit.
But I'm just a guy in the comment section. What do I know?

As good as King Henrik was, hes not even the best goalie waiting to get in. See Barrasso or Vernon. Mogilny should have been in on first ballot. HHOF has been a bit of a joke for years. Stuff like these nominations and exclusions solidify the point.
