Interesting idea… .another versatile player….he really reminds me a lot of Nugent Hopkins…..really nothing wrong with having options….in case of injury etc.
I'd like to see them go back to the Dynamite line of Nuge, Draisaitl, and Yamamoto, and see if they can rekindle the chemistry from a couple seasons ago. Then they gotta go out and get somebody to play on Mcdavid's left wing. Preferably somebody with a good shot. Maybe Tatar? Hyman? Schwartz? Hoffman? Saad? Debrusk? Duclaire? Strome? Possibly one of those guys. I'd be happy getting any of them. As you said, the nice thing about Strome is that he could move around from wing or center on different lines, just like Nuge. Guess it kind of depends how much they wanna spend when they also need 2nd pair LD (w/ Kleftbom out), maybe a 3 C (unless they think McLeod can do it), and maybe a better goalie to replace Koskinen and play with Smith. I'm hoping and assuming Larsson resigns.
His numbers have been regressing. My worry is that he will be the next Dominik Kahun (also put up crazy numbers with Draisaitl as kids), and if so, why not just sign Kahun for league minimum instead of the $3M hit Strome has, or the $3.6M minimum offer next season. I guess he does have a lot more size, but is it worth the extra $2M?
I'm open to taking on Strome if it costs us minimal. I think Chicago was banking on him finding that junior spark with DeBrincat too, but it really just didn't happen. I know DeBrincat isn't McDavid but I think it's wishful thinking that he'll find some huge spark if he comes to the Oil

Do another projected roster since nuge has been signed

I like Strome. Neal and Jones for Keith and Strome is a decent straight across deal in my eyes.
If Oilers could get hall, on a similar contract to nuge, to be 1 or 2LW, then strome as a 3LW might work. Still need a right shot 3C, and a goalie
I think you would attract more subs if you dropped the cheesy tough guy voice.

I'd look at bringing both DeBrusk & Strome if it's possible. (Probably one of them is coming to Oilers)
My Edmonton Oilers Roster 2021/2022
Debrusk-McDavid-Pulujarvi
Nuge-Draisitial-Yamamoto
Schwartz-Granlund-Arcibald
Benson-Ganger-Hinostroza
Nurse-Bear
Larsson- Oleksiak
Keith- Bouchard
Mrazek
Koskinen
Stalock

Background music makes your channel unwatchable! Annoying as shit.
Strome would only be a option on the wing, he’s a career 47% in the dot
Strome is strong on the power play, when he got his chances
Why not Strome reunite with Connor McDavid in Edmonton and join his former teammate Duncan Keith
