  1. Yeah, I think Rutherford is a bad choice, I think Dale Tallon is without a doubt the best choice, He built Chicago to a 3 time Stanley Cup Champion and most recently built Florida into a contender. Dale Tallon the Guy.

  2. hes a winner the canucks are losers if i was this fan base i would be ecstatic but keep complaining and remain the losers you have alway been

  3. I have no idea how to feel about Rutherford. Is he any good? I hear he was at the other end of the Gudbranson trade so I get a bit worried

  4. So Rutherford basically is being hired to run the team for the Aquilinis and hire a replacement for Jim Benning – Stan Smyl?!

  5. As long as it is not Gillis I don’t mind don’t need the big fish or 10m long term contacts or cap penalties or trading a player for lesser value could have gotten more then just Bo and we went through this whole fire Gillis 8 years ago just to go right back to the beginning of where this all started from and his drafting was terrible not only you want to be an actual contending team you also need assists for the future to be able to build on as well and Gillis is not that guy.

  6. No one is perfect. We only cared that he had won 3 Stanley Cups before and hopefully, he can make it 4 or even more with the Canucks!

  7. brian burke would be my 1st pick….but this isnt to bad at all. experience and age go hand in hand so im glad these old farts are taking over.

  8. Aquillini's have hired most the experienced coach and most experienced hockey ops guys out there. There are no guaranteed saviors on the market so they went with 2 guys that have been there and done that before. Hope it works out.

  9. The Canucks went in a different direction. They hired a pair of old farts! Coach Boudreau will be 67 in 4 weeks. Prez/GM Rutherford will be 73 in 2 months. Both look old and tired. Coach Boudreau looks like he's about to explode or have a heart attack. Are they the best the Canucks could find?
