First, if Ovi played for the CBJ then he would never have gotten to 700 goals, let alone 822. He would have been perennially injured or underperformed the entire time he was here.
He would have been shipped out the same way that Nash was after failing to make a deep playoff run time and again. Then he’d find success with his new team and maybe eventually get a Cup there, but maybe not.
