    The only thing I can think of is Berts age and cap space.
    Stevie thinks it’ll be a few years yet and wants to be able to sign a big name if given the chance.

    if yzerman wanted to move up the draft. he has the draft capitol now to move up. this team lacks a number 2 center and they can get one now, yzerman is always steps ahead. so he has a plan
