    Pas certain mais quand Hughes a ete en Europe je crois c etait pour parler et voir un gardien et possiblement ils vont choisir ce gardien sois en 2 ou plus haut , encore il vont cherecher un gros gabaris qui de toute facon sera l enphase cette annee pour tout les postes a combler ou remplacer

    so Coach… you may find this interesting. Across 56 Games this season Shane Wright has 22 Goals and 31 Assists across 3 levels of Hockey. NHL, OHL and AHL. He picked up a point last night for the Coachella Firebirds in Calder Cup Final Game number 3 ( Coachella 2 games to Milwaukee 1 Game) I had the game on last night and it is clear they are playing Shane Wright in a 200 foot Center type role

    He is having a great development year particularly if you toss in the World Juniors.

    It is interesting that Vegas– recent Expansion team wins the Stanley and Seattle ( Coachella ) may win the Calder Cup.

    2 recent expansion Teams doing very well.

    So I did some research into Goalies based on Coaches video. Most of the Mock Draft have Hrbal, Augustine and Gajan look to all go in the 2nd round. Hrbal seems to be gone before our pick at 37. Austine looks to go second in second round and Gajan 3rd. If we want a high level goalie we will need to do it at pick 37.

    I am thinking if Hrbal is available…. at 37 we take him. if we really want him we may have to do it at 31. I am leaning towards taking Hrbal at 31 then using 37 pick on a player

    DannY Nelson looks quite interesting with his size and skills set. Born in August, this kid may develop into a solid player with the right transition to the pro level.
    TRistan BErtucci has a nice upside. If still there at #37, grab him! Maxim STRbak looks interesting. Mikhail Gulyayev would be a nice pick up in the 3rd round is still there. Noel NOrdh may be a surprising asset if he develops well.

    Dalibor Dvorsky was better than Michkov in the last tournament they both participated in (2022 Hlinka). Michkov led the scorers , (1 point ahead of Dvorsky), only after getting 3 points in the final game blowout, including an empty netter. Russia was a much stronger team than Slovakia, as well. They won't take Michkov if Dvorsky is available. Also Dvorsky was better than Smith at the U18, Dali was in on over 60% of his team's offense, Smith less than 40% of US scoring. DD is younger than both, about 25 pounds heavier, and a much better two way player.

    It's obvious Button knows nothing in international affairs and the corruption in Russia so I would Take C Buttons opinion with a grain of salt ! As far as the Florida pick I would pick the big right D to complete the defense Build.

    FYI i really like this discussion about Goaltenders… it really made me look at that position very closely. I hate the Idea of using a first round pick on Hrbal but it really is intriguing me. I think this should be a big area of discussion

    I wouldn't pick Michkov because:
    1) They won't be able to direct his crucial years of growth as a player (18-21)
    2) They might not be able to get him even after that (his father died in suspicious circumstances while trying to get him out of KHL contract)
    3) Michkov is all out offence, but 0 defence

    Great daily Coach…I really don’t know about the Prospective goalies but I feel bad for the two firings…life can be tough. I just hope we are all happy with the picks esp if the Russian is picked.
