Hockey and MMA are the last brutal sports! Football is no longer a sport that you’re allowed to collide into another player! That said the style of hockey the Panthers have played in the playoffs has knocked every team they have face totally off their game until now! The Vegas Golden Knights have weathered the storm of forechecking and intimidation and have been able to triumph! Hats off to Vegas! Tkachuk’s injury comes with the territory sometimes when you live by the sword you die by the sword! Right now I’m hoping for a Panther win! Stand tall boys!

There's the old saying "you live by the sword, you die by the sword." The Panthers like to play a rough and tumble brand of hockey, which is fun to watch. Everyone was ready to hand the Panthers the Stanley Cup when Matthew Tkachuk decimated Jack Eichel with that clean, open-ice hit. To everyone's amazement Eichel wasn't seriously injured, and returned the next period. Contrast this to Keegan Kolesar's shoulder-on-shoulder check to Tkachuk (also clean). Now Tkachuk is in obvious distress, which is hard for most true hockey fans to watch (yes, I'm a Knights fan) but I do hate to see any players injured, especially this time of year. That being said, it was all good when Tkachuk was the one doing the banging, but now that very style of play was his demise. The Knights are just a different animal from anything the Panthers faced in the East. Bigger, stronger, faster. And give Bruce Cassidy credit for getting everyone to buy into his system. (I wonder how the Bruins feel right about now having let him go?) Before I close, there's one other saying that I think applies here: "Mess around, mess around, hit the ground." This team barely made it into the playoffs and were down 3-1 to the best team in history, and went on to destroy them. Don’t count these guys out. If they did that to Boston, it’s a good possibility they do it again

Thachuk is best when people don't push back, all playoffs except Boston they played against speed and skill but now a team that hits back and Florida slows down. Florida only has a vacation fan base. No true fans. Same with Vegas. Only people in the stands are on vacation

You completely missed the mark on this one. Injury aside. Chucker has been damn near irrelevant this series. As well as Bob besides one good game so far. Others to note are Barkov, Verhaege, Duclair, Reinhart. All have been caspered.
Florida also does not have the depth VGK has,,, when Bennett is on your top line PP… not good.
Also count up his penalty minutes and you will see he’s been off a tremendous amount of time too… he’s not helping his team here.
Credit to the VGK , their style and level they play deserve to whin the cup. But hoping for an extended series , the panthers deserve after their phenomenal 3 rounds.
