He has a 10% stake in the Habs (which obviously he’ll have to sell), and he’s been the owner of the Hamilton Bulldogs since 2015.
He’s clearly passionate about hockey on top of being successful and wealthy. Sounds like exactly who you would want owning the team.
Bettman wanted Andlauer to be the owner of the Sens it was reported by Marek on 32T and CJ on TSN. Bettman again, being the gatekeeper of the league and not allowing newer investors to come and in turn grow the league with fresh new ideas.
