I am actually quite pleased with our fight these last 2 games. Goals against us have been lapses in execution/mistakes or power plays. We’re fighting through some serious injuries right now.
But I’m fucking proud of our guys getting back to playing their game and making sure it’s looked nothing like Game 2. Let’s bring this back here and fuck these losers up.

I love the arbitrary whistles at the end of the game. I love the 17 seconds we get of PP ice time. I love the missed slash on Staalsy. I love the missed cross check on Ekblad right in front of the referee.

That said, proud of this team. We weren’t supposed to be here, we snuck into the playoffs by 1 point.
Down 1-3 to the Bruins and we came back and won in Game 7 OT. Beat the Leafs 4-1. Swept the Hurricanes.
This wasn’t supposed to be the start of our Cup runs under Maurice or with Tkachuk. It’s all house money.
Good for the franchise, good for growing the game in South Florida, good for the sport in general. The dudes in front of me were wearing Dolphins gear and one called one of his buddies to tell them they should get season tickets for the Panthers next year.
Tkachuk’s just entering his prime. Ekky and Barkov have a few good years left. This is an exciting team with an exciting future. Whatever happens, be proud.
