The more footage I watch of Oliver Moore the more I like him. The guy seems like the fastest player out of all the guys in this draft class with a world class ice vision.
I like Lenard as well but speed can't be taught, Moore seems to have a motor that doesn't stop.
I think Arizona will take Mitchkov. The Coyotes pick at 6th and 12 so they can afford to take Mitchkov at 6 th and still get a blue chip prospect at 12th.
I hope they take michkov… I think they will take a safer bet and I think it's a mistake… the way I see it you don't take him and he shreds it somewhere else that will be a mistake, but you won't make a championship team around Leonard or whoever you get… with michkov the potential is actually there…
Trade 5th and 31st and 37th for Arizona's 6th and 12th. Arizona can get Michkov and Habs can get Leonard and Reinbacher/Dvorsky. The details of the trade can be ironed out. Perhaps Philadelphia is a better fit with 7th and 22nd for Habs #5 and #37. Habs may have a chance at Dvorsky or Benson or Reinbacher or Perrault. Again, Habs with #5 and #31 for Detroit's 9th and 17th could net us an excellent center and a RD-man. Another lesser option would be St Louis's 10th, 25th and 29th for #5, #31 and #69. Details of any trade with Mickkov can be worked out But for crying out loud, if Montreal opts to pass on the 2nd best generational talent in the 2023 draft, maybe the one of the best Russian talents since Ovechkin please do not get him one-on-one. Just letting Mr. Hughes know, I'd be thrilled to get Michkov with the 5th overall draft pick and we'll avoid all the nonsense. Montreal's 31st and 37nd would be enough compensation to get Dragicevic and Hrabal, filling right D and a monstrous goalie.

Can’t wait for the draft to be over so we can stop hearing “MICHKOV MICHKOV !!!!!”. Our fanbase values skill NO MATTER WHAT and don’t even acknowledge the KHL situation and the whole picture. There’s a reason why it’s believed around the league that he could drop past 10 because NHL teams have actual info about the situation and don’t just look at a 2 minutes highlight video on YouTube. This is coming from the same fanbase who wanted Shane “Bergeron with more offense” Wright NO MATTER WHAT. So in conclusion, fans don’t know anything. They just look at some analytics made by a nerd on twitter or a few highlight videos on YouTube, while NHL teams actually know what they’re doing
I'm not saying they won't take him, but "He's visiting the city, so its practically a lock that he goes to San Jose" is a bit of an exaggeration teams usually bring more than one prospect in to visit the city when its all said and done. The Habs have had plenty of prospects visit Montreal that they didn't end up drafting.
