Foligno had a terrible year, period. With the coaching staff reluctantly keeping the Grief Line together way too long, it was a combination of Greenway showing his lack of consistency to 17 wearing out.
I would take a flyer out on 17 and keep him as every player has off years and his heart and effort are never in doubt. At 3.1, it’s a crapshoot, but he’s a good leader and potentially his trade stock climbs if that’s the direction it turns to as the season progresses. Your grades are spot on, you can make a case for trading or keeping but sometimes the best decisions are those not made. If you are keeping him, he needs to be in the press box a few times a year to keep the legs fresh as the style he plays is rugged…

What a disappointing regular season and it got worse from there. I blame the playoff performance on Deano. A bit of grit is one thing but WTF? Foligno is traded this summer IMO as Hartman is more valuable (a centre) and cheaper.
Toronto could use some damn grit how about Foligno + Addison + 2025 1st for Matt Knies?
