I was thinking the same bud. I really want Reinbacher but he'll be gone. So Dragicevic it is. I think though the Sabre's will take a forward for the 13th pick. Was thinking Mathew Wood or maybe local boy Quintin Musty. But for D is Dragicevic or Wallinder. Should still be some good picks in the 2nd round as well. We have 39 and 45.
That kid looks really good. Can they get him at 13th? I do think Buffalo need Dmen and another goalie prospect. Trey Augustine comes to mind.

Would not be my choice. If a team badly wanted this guy, they should trade down. I think there are better D options. Eg. Reinbacher/Pellika if they fall to 13, Simashev… Should not draft a 2nd round kid with the No. 13 overall in a draft as good as this one. Just my opinion. This is supposed to be the best draft since 03.
I wanna see how his defensive play before I would want the sabres too take him I can careless about his offensive ability we already have those type of players we need defenseman that can be defensive and get the puck out of our zone I'm going too watch his highlights and see if he can defend

Nice job of researching Wayne, still growing, could be an awesome pick. I haven't found a Dman that I really liked for this pick, but I was looking bigger. Wish we could add some "hitters" to this team

I know the mantra is to draft the "best player available" but I'm in favor of drafting the "best defenseman available" considering Buffalo's glut of forward prospects.
I would not complain if we got him.
I agree that Adams and his scouts will take a D man at 13th ( unless they take power forward LW Quetin Musty from the Sudbury Wolves from Hamburg NY or trade the pick to Winnipeg for Hellebuyck? )
This would a great pick and bang on as other D men ranked ahead of him – Axle Sandin Pellikka , Simishev, and Reinbacher will most likely taken before Buffalo picks at 13th.
Edit…just heard Gavrikov resigned with LA and islanders gm Lizard Lou has his eyes set on resigning Scott Mayfield. On a good note , i heard NJ might try to trade the rights to Damon Severson before free agency starts in july .
So he’s soft, doesn’t hit and is a forward they turned into a defenseman…he’s exactly what Adams likes.
I looked into this kid as well I’m with you! He’s a project but I think Adam’s view on Quinn was similar. None starter at 13 but they can get him certainly late first with a trade up or early 2nd rd.

Myself, I am hoping that Adams can trade up for Reinbacher. With Buffalo's salary cap space as a bargaining chip, he could approach one of the seventh-through-tenth teams who want to open up salary cap space of their own by dealing a defenseman and their first-round pick to Buffalo for our 13th pick and a prospect or two, with other players and/or draft picks added to sweeten the deal for either side. If that can't happen, then perhaps this kid is a potential winner.
