Vegas got payed to take some players… THEY had BETTER CHOICE to take but team … like the panther FORCE them to Pick Smith and MArchessault … instead of Another … ANd LOOK AT THAT … They also traded a lot of asset … Suzuki … Fleury and many more … to get where they are … they only have I think 6 players lefts from the ORIGINAL YEARS … So STOP with they got HANDED a team … THAT NOT TRUE … The gm DID an AMAZING JOB and player that werent STARS became TRUE STARS

My team didn't even sniff the playoffs(Hawks) but I'm now living in Vegas and I cheer for Knights as long as it has nothing to do with the Hawks. GO KNIGHTS GO!

This matchup is awesome honestly… at least for real hockey fans. Game 1 was highly entertaining, some great story lines going in, some spice at the end there… looking forward to G2.
I'm guilty of being one of those "fans" who basically tunes out of the playoffs once my team is knocked out. As a Canadiens fan, I've only watched some of the 10-minute YouTube highlight packages over the last 6 weeks.
I am finding it much more difficult to watch hockey games on TV with all the sickening gambling commercials. In addition, the constant advertising on the rink boards that changes every few seconds has essentially killed my desire to watch any televised games.
The game has been largely ruined because all that matters is creating more revenue in any fashion imaginable. The purity of the sport is now in the toilet. It's an unfortunate outcome for professional hockey.

I’m not aware of many comments around this being a boring series; quite the opposite. This is great for hockey and great for the NHL. The NHL needs more of these series to expand the brand and get folks excited about the sport. My one knock on the NHL is the lack of marketing and keeping a consistent buzz around the sport. The other major sports do a much better job in this area. Don’t complain about the teams if you need to complain. Complain about the management of the brand.

It's the lack of drama, I think that is the part being missed here. The hockey is fine, there are good players, etc. But there was more drama in the first round matchup for Florida than there is here. At the end of the day, do I really care if either of these teams wins or loses the cup? For most people, the answer is simply no.

The level of goaltending alone makes this series a must-watch. Forget about the fact both teams are just ‘meh’ when it comes to national fanbases.

People that crap on this final are mouth breathing fans who can’t think for themselves. They heard a bad take from some people and they just keep repeating it. I’m a rags fan, horribly disgruntled with how our season ended but these playoffs have been extraordinary! Just enjoy the show.

I would disagree what you said 100% because we all know that Gary Bettman when you first started his goal was to make sure that his sponsors and TV rates decide who goes to the Stanley Cup final. You can see what you just sit on here that it’s not boring Florida, and the golden knights need to be there, which they did work hard to get there which I believe the golden knights have half Canadians same with Florida for the part. It bothers me that people in Canada have been starving for a final. I'm blaming the loss on Tkachuk. He was too cocky and upstaged/disrespected his captain by grabbing that trophy and with the interviews. The reason why I didn't like him in the first place. If it wasn't his 1st season with the team I wouldn't have seen it as much as an issue. It wasn't his to grab. It was barkov and every other player that has been on the team before people realized that kieth Tkachuk had sons in the NHL to grab. I can't be the only person seeing it this way
