Fuck. Yes. Vosters and Panger full time together will be amazing for years to come! HOLY JUMPIN will be amazing to hear after Bedards first goal

  2. sandman730

Pang played all 81 games of his NHL career with the Blackhawks (80 games in net in the ’87-’89 seasons)

Wonder what this means for Sharpie and Troy Murray

Edit: just saw the Colby Cohen news. Sharpie between the benches would be sick

  4. Hawks needed to make upgrades to the broadcast but I personally can’t stand the HOLY JUMPING shtick.

Absolutely love Panger, this would be amazing

  6. i hope he’s replacing vosters, i can’t stand that guy

Not only do we get a fantastic voice in the booth, but we also get to rip out the hearts of Blues fans. What an absolute win!

Pang’s a good color guy but I hope he doesn’t have to carry the entire broadcast. Vosters really needs to develop his call. Dude just says the name of the guy who has or possess the puck.

  9. Honestly I’m more happy about blues fans being upset than anything else. What a day!

Lots of sad Blues fans in the hockey subreddit right now and I love it. Fuck the blues

  11. Amazing news! Panger is one of the best in the business and, as much as I love Sharpie, I think he is a much better color guy lol really ushering in the new era across the whole organization – it’s fantastic to see.

And bonus points for fuck the Blues!!!!

Some of the stuff this organization does makes no sense. I like adding Prang but it makes the loss of Eddie so much more head scratching.

I would be much more excited for this if Vosters was being replaced too. I know he needs time to develop but his delivery and “jokes” just don’t land with me.

Bring back the panger!!!! Always looked up to him since he didn’t let height stop him from making the show. And enjoy the goalie perspective on analysis.

Vosters and Pang will vibe a lot more together in my opinion. I found it painful listening to Vosters and Sharp because, in my opinion, they just didn’t compliment each other that well. It’s not a knock on either, but I think they just thrive on different types of energy. Vosters is 10 years younger and isn’t an ex-NHL player, he also went to UW-Madison to study to be a sports broadcaster. Sharp is at his best on the TNT crew when he can vibe with ex-players who have been in the locker room. Pang is both an ex-player and I has good energy will mesh well with Vosters’.

I just read the comments on r/hockey, *insert Nelson Muntz laugh*.

So what does the TV & radio lineup look like overall then?

Jumped the gun letting Eddie O go but now with Bedard we’re gonna back in the spotlight, need some veteran insight alongside Vosters.

Am I the only one who doesn’t like pang. Hated him since he did postgame on WBBM in the 90s. Just too golly gee whiz goofy to me
