I believe if Dubois was in Montreal he would have a more passionate game play which would probably boost his performance and also passion is contagious. But again there is that gamble to give up a high prospect when not too many other teams would be interested in Dubois at this time and I do not see his numbers, or interest rise as he continues to play in Winnipeg next season. Elias Lindholm would be a better asset to bring for a high prospect like you said Owen Beck.
If Winnipeg is gonna be greedy about it they just offersheet him. Then if they match they can’t trade him. Then take him next year for free.

I wouldn't try to get Dubois for fear of another "Drouin" situation.
Dubois will go to L.A or West. Dont need two centers at 60 pts ceilling. Now Suzuki can get 80 to 100 but needs a winger at 40 to 50 and other 30+ Takes 3 to tango in hockey.
Dvorak has 2 years left not sure I would consider this a very long contract lol

trading beck would be stupid. he'll be our 3C for a decade or more. minny rushed to sign joel eriksson ek long term, and beck will be a similar player.
lindholm is a UFA target for me, but i'm not sure a trade is the best option right now. not to say i wouldn't do it, but it depends on what we're sending back.
I think a trade for Dubois depends on who we draft. If we draft a centre with the 5th pick, I don't think they trade for Dubois. If we draft Michkov, it's more likely.
FLA pick, Mesar/Beck, Dvorak and Edmundson for PLD seems fair but I would rather get Lindholm and pay a bit more.
Does anyone actually believe the Dvorak Anderson FLA 1st trade offer? When would’ve this occurred? Like those 2 would both waive their no trade clauses to go to wpg who’s clearly rebuilding?
