I'm f***ing confused. Confused and conflicted. Is Lou too old, wracked with senility, roaming life as a lone nut? Or is he really gaslighting with hall-of-fame caliber and blessings from ownership? Genuinely, I cannot tell. Feel like dissembling to become solely my id, questioning all I know and all life choices. Honestly, and snark.
Of course they will and the same results will happen. Aging,injury prone and slow. The belief in this core is a coverup to Lou’s inability to move and sign and depleted cap space. The owners are clueless and need to move in another direction.

Great, another lost season before we start. I feel bad for Sorokin. If he was smart he should look to get out now.
Not shocked but not depressed either…This team has talent but needs better coaching (especially power play) and most importantly reasonable health!….they were crushed by injury last season and still were able to compete. Bailey will be bought out and several of the over thirty slower, average or below players hopefully are moved….If not and the team tanks…next season will see a house cleaning from the owners who invested in the new UBS arena….Bottom line, HEALTH is the key imho…Go Islanders!!!

Just more status quo as lou and the gang remain minus the inevitable bailey buy out next season. And outside of beau to get bo (eberle lost exp. draft) and leddy/toews for seconds due to his cap misman'gmt when has lou moved a 'core' player during five years as gm to improve this team? A-lou can't. This aging slow team is in need of a huge jolt. A huge jolt lou is incapable of delivering. Expect diminishing results next season. Isles are a rudderless ship with a senile captain at the helm.
