  1. I see no reason not to believe Lehner. We just saw basically the same thing in MLB with the Angels trainers getting opioids to players without a script, and it got one of their players killed.

  2. Robin . he the reason Los Vegas will never win a Stanley cup he just not that good . U los Vegas u so freaking stuip u got let go one of the best goalie Marc andre flurry . U now a joke for letting the wrong guy go .

  3. He's not the hero we wanted,
He's the hero we need right now.
    Lehner is a legend.
This man speaks the truth, wether you like it or not. You gotta respect that.

  4. The NHL treating their employees like any given large corporation treats their employees: Like property. They can have all kinds of feel good charities and vertue signaling but in the end it's all about the $$$.

  5. 5M a year for Ullmark. He's gonna get all the chances in the world to prove himself. His bad start in pre-season is not enough to demote him fom #1 goalie status in Boston.

  6. He needs to leave the league. He said Islanders were great to him, right doctors, right course of action. Made the Islanders out as wonderful…yet he signed a contract with Chicago….1 season…un eventful season at that. Lehner makes choices, bad choices then blames those around him….you will not see any active nhl player back home up. Choices Choices Choices.

  7. This just in. NHL suspends robin lehner for bullying…

    Truth can be offensive apparently.

(This is speculation, not official, yet…)

  8. Benzodiazepines. Not opiates Shannon. Unless he mentioned op's somewhere else. Buuuut I wouldn't be surprised if they did as well. I know they inject Toradol … an anti-inflammatory which is pretty harsh on the body.

  9. They are getting a ton of money for playing sports. More money then most seen in a lifetime.
A completely useless job. If every sport stopped, the world be barely be effected, just more bored people.
No pity for them, they are cattle for my entertainment, that is it.

  10. Good for him… I played.. Not in show but I got to travel and meet people. This garbage has gone on forever.

  11. Robin needs to have a seat. He is stirring up trouble over nothing.

If he keeps barking and can't back it up, he will soon be looking at a lengthy suspension, it's in the CBA.

  12. Vegas really traded Vezina winner and kept hockey version of Kanye West

  13. The lehner things remind me of Crosby being treated for a concussion for a year when he actually has a fractured vertebrae

  14. Update. 10-04-21 Lehner retracts statement. Go figure. The distraction show that is Lehner is very unfortunate.

  15. Ok, no player is disputing what Lehner's saying is untrue, but, no player is coming out backing him up either, the Nolan/philly stuff is hear say until Patrick (if it is him thats bad mouthing the Flyers) comes out and verifies what Lehner is saying

  16. The NHL is entertaining, but it is such a bush league with politically correct agendas, it's sickening. Way to go Robin. No other player dares to say anything, so he is the main target for the NHL to shut down.

  17. The whole Lindros situation in Philly comes to my mind when i think of mistreatment and bad team doctors.

  18. Lehner is the true fighter for players. Dude constantly goes to bat for his teammates and players no matter consequences. Nice to see someone who is willing to stand up to the league

  19. If there is another edition, Lehner calling out Alain Vigneault should go on Part 2 of NHL Most Ruthless Roasts

  20. Who is more guilty:
    a) Robin Lehner for his Twitter comments
    b) The Buffalo Sabres for mismanaging his injury alongside Eichel
    c) The Philadelphia Flyers for doping all their players?
    d) Coach Alain Vigneault for unprofessional conduct towards his players?

  21. Benzos and Ambien are not opioids. I wouldn't be shocked if players are given opioids as well but Lehner never mentioned them.

  22. well he has no reason to hide this shit, since he exposed the NHL covid protocol anyway

  23. Maybe someone else has said this, but this is actually blackmail. I agree with lehner that if this stuff is going on, then it needs to stop. However, that doesn't mean it's not illegal. The difference between this and being a whistleblower is that lehner is making demands or he'll release info.

  24. A company/business can only get so big before it starts doing shady shit. Anyone that's watched the league for any number of years can likely see the cracks that have formed in time, without doing deep dives or having insider info

  25. Ex leaf fan, ex nhl fan, ex pro sport fan here. When Iginla n flames were robbed by refs, an the nhl I started to doubt legitimacey of prosports…now with this coof flew i know its only a short matter of time til you see some famous people, finally voicing their real opinions .. too late. Check out Dustin Penner, one of the only real men amonst all these role models, lol . I welcome the trollz , lol. Bring it!!!!

  26. What more does this guy want honestly? IMO Vegas has made him the #1 in support of mental health awareness and in support for him. Fleury was a better tender, no doubt about it. He needs to just shut it down and do his job. Stop worrying about certain doctors or teams practices and behavior. Every proffesional athlete should be their own advocate along with their agent. If people think the NHL is unique in operating this way they are crazy.. its a business and it’s life.

  27. the drug problem in the nhl is real. What teams do about it i get. You are their product so they want you on the ice. How ever you get on the ice they dont care just get out there. Up too you as an individual how you do that. Years ago it was alcohol then in the 80 90s it was coke and now it has swung too prescript meds and other pharms. Not that blow and booze are good for ya but pills man deadly stuff. I understand the business on both ends. Players want big money teams pay big money and want you on the ice or next in line. But in life thats in any business. Player wise is your long term health less important then your lambo and 7 bedroom 4 bath house occupied by 2 people. Players responsibility for taking drugs no one elses in my opinion. I like Lehner ever since Ottawa had him. I live in Ottawa but am a Flyer fan but i always liked him. Says some crazy stuff but the point he makes usually is valid. Ottawa had a big problem years ago that was kept pretty quiet so i am sure he has seen some things. Going too be hard too shut him up since others are jumping on too his wagon. NHL fix it dont deny it and you will be o.k. But as i said i put the responsibility on the player.

  28. I'd love to see swayman as the starter. Love the way he plays! He's in my opinion the future of the franchise.

  29. Random question. For example are the players not from the USA that are on an American team, say Nashville on work visa or have dual citizenship?

  30. Robin Lehner is 100% correct. Seen it firsthand in HIGHSCHOOL. Same is true for football. Whether they are needed medically or not, majority of players are on drugs constantly whether is pain killers, steroids, sleep aids, etc. Anything you need, you can get WITHOUT a prescription THROUGH the team. Don't be naive, it always comes down to money. These leagues don't care about a players health, only what they can do for them.

  31. What are the consequences for Eichel if he gets the artificial disk replacement on his own?
Voided contract? That would be a win unless he would be forced to sit out the length of the voided contract.
Sabres Sue him? That would suck unless there is legal ground he can stand on with it being his own body and decision to make.

  32. For as long as I've been familiar with Lehner, I've realized 2 things. 1, he's a good goalie, and 2, he can never keep quiet enough to stay out of drama. It seems to follow him everywhere at least once a year.
