Provorov Traded to Blue Jackets in 3 Team Deal Between Philly, Columbus and LA

I like this trade a lot, creative way for the Flyers to get future assets and a couple for the present as well. The Kings are making cap space, apparently to retain Gavrikov.

  1. Hopefully the Hart trade news comes to fruition here soon. Would love to see him in Carolina.

  2. If a team retains salary, does that mean just the cap number or are they on the hook for the actual salary paid to the player?

  3. Columbus – well, I kinda get it.
LA – well, I guess if that's the price to get rid of Petersen's deal…
Philly – why? On the other hand, why not? It's not like they are going to be any good any time soon…
