  1. He is one of the nicest guys to ever play in the NFL so to get him so mad the he hits you so hard that you leave the ground make you fumble then he recovers the fumble and he trash talks after for what I assume was the first and last time he talked trash in his career lol. Harden made a big mistake taking a cheap shot at steve

  2. As long as I can remember I have never known about this redemption incident,I guess we know why he is a H.A. F. 'mer . ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ˜Ž

  3. I was a Broncs fan. My friend Greg Kragen (71) was trying to block for Harden and then recover the fumble and I loved the play anyway.

  4. The payback HIT Largent put on Harden had me out of my seat. That should have had the whole stadium up with a standing ovation.

  5. โ€œMy Daddy hurt that uppity Black man, yay!โ€ Cโ€™mon, everyone knows not got go down the middle on Mike freaking Hardin. It was a bang bang play, and I donโ€™t think he did it on purpose. Largent is so short Hardinโ€™s elbows are chin level on him

  6. And the amazing thing is after they retired Steve and Harden became really good friends and actually started dating for a little bit. It was so nice to see a white WR and a black DB make love when I'd watch them in our local bar here in Norman, OK. I would have to tell people that little stain on my pants was water and not pre-come

  7. Well I guess yall Seahawks fans forget Kenny Easley (The 1st e forcer Seattle had before Kam Chancellor) used to hit WRsjust like Mike Harden. That's the way the game was played. I enjoyed hits like that I used to play free safety so I grew up playing this way before rules changed.

But ill admit I love Steve Largent getting his hit back and the fumble it was a thing of beauty. Steve Largent was not a WR he was a ALL AROUND FOOTBALL PLAYER. I have the upmost respect for him.

  8. getting knocked out isn't so bad, waking up and dealing with the consequences In the following days and weeks, that's what's hard to deal with.

  9. if it was in a movie you'd say it wouldn't happen in reality As an aside, my (Steeler fan) favorite revenge hit is Ju Ju on Burfict

  10. OMG. I am old. I remember both of these plays. Not the games but I remember both plays watching on TV. Revenge is best served cold and Steve Largent was as hard as ICE.

  11. And it's got NOTHING TO DO WITH RACE!!; I BET THEYD SIT TOGETHER VAND LAUGH TOGETHER ABOUT IT OVER A FEW DRINKS!!!! TRUE FOOTBALL!! HOOLIGANS ON AND OFF THE FIELD๐Ÿ”Š๐Ÿ”Š๐Ÿ”Š๐Ÿ”Š

  12. Good LORD, Mike Harden got launched five whole yards, lol. Steve came out of the camera frame too. You have to have a LOT of force to hit somebody clean from behind and take them off their feet like that.

  13. This is probably the first play as a Kid watching the game with my pops I cognitively remember watching, its also one of my earliest memories. To this day I'm still a Seahawks fan, Largent A.K.A. Yoda is my favorite NFL player, and this is my favorite play and outcome.

  14. The fact that fate gifted him a chance at payback is 100% proof that even God was a Largent fan.

  15. That was only 1/2 the payback Seattle got. The other 1/2 was the SB shellacking and taking them to the cleaners on the Wilson trade. Now we're square.

  16. no doubt whatsoever that it was a dirty, cheap shot by Harden But Karma was very sweet for Largent. Steve did it the right way

  17. Harden knocks a guy out with a forearm then stands over him and taunts him then high fives a teammate!! Thatโ€™s the part that pissed me off

  18. The coolest part of that play is you see Harden turn and he sees who hit him! Largent, one of the best football players ever! I was born in Seattle in 1965, I'm not the least bit biased.

Honor to watch him play in the Kingdome.

  19. What a cheap shot. No apology. In 2003 he got sent up for a 6-year bid for stealing from women. I guess, once crap, always crap.

  20. That picture at 2:14 might be one of the greatest sports photos that I have ever seen, especially knowing that he fumbles that ball and Largent recovers.

  21. Seahawk fan here, its hard to beat BeastQuake or winning the super bowl but this is my fav Swahawk highlight and it was before i was even born lol

  22. I don't watch ๐Ÿˆ football for hours on end
I only see the post game highlights
Inspiring story , some say it was revenge
I say God moved in to his favor
And to recover the ball ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿˆ
