I'll be honest, I hope that IndyCar doesn't run a points race at the Roval. Maybe a Non-Championship, main NBC, end of season expedition race, but nothing more.
The road course, in its current configuration, is to small and tight to make good driving and good racing in IndyCars. I don't think we would have more than 1 overtaking place, into the first chicane, and I'm even not sure on that.
It's a good circuit, and I think both IndyCar and NASCAR should collaborate and that 'out of the box' circuits are important.
However, I don't think the Rovals layout would suit IndyCar or other high performance cars.
I think the race Parker is referring to actually took place in March of 2010. The list of legendary old timers in that one was tremendous!
We're talking David Pearson, Tommy Houston, Cale Yarborough, Harry Gant, Jack Ingram, Dave Marcis among others including David Pearson's son Larry.
Larry Pearson spun and came to a stop across the track and was slammed in the drivers door HARD by Charlie Glotzbach and was severely injured. It dang near killed him and It totally ruined the event.

Put cup back on dirt for a race or two every season. Or for the all star race go to a place like bowman gray stadium or south Boston

With all this talk about a Nascar-Indycar doubleheader, an idea that I've had for a while is that they should have it at the Milwaukee Mile. I'm curious as to what your thoughts would be on this, Parker. Do you think a doubleheader at Milwaukee would draw a good crowd? Would it produce good racing?

I was asked what I thou g t of this video. I hate Parker, he's an idiot, who knows nothing about real racing. So I give – 5 stars for this video.

DTM and Super GT are trying to combine their rules packages seeing as how the formats for the two series the same. Should other global series, such as British Touring Cars and World Touring Cars, consider doing this?
