According to both The Athletic and the New York Post, the New York Rangers will not be interviewing Quebec Ramparts coach and hockey hall of fame goaltender Patrick Roy for the team’s vacant head coaching position. This leaves John Hynes and Peter Laviolette as the two candidates for the post with the Rangers.
