How about a video focused on 2-3 players in years 1-3 that have superstar potential, looking at their stats against comparables, with the purpose of projecting the ultimate point (etc) range each guy is likely to reach
For years I've been one of the biggest Hedman fan boys. It really seems like he makes no mistakes, at least very few. I believe he was leading his team in points for a while too(I'm not sure about Fox on that account, but he is currently 2nd on his team while Hedman is 3rd). With that being said, Adam Fox is putting on a special performance this season. I've never really been an advanced numbers guy, but from the sounds of it the eye test is great, and his general offensive/defensive stats are obviously among the best in the league. The same guys aren't guaranteed to win every year, and league experience pretty much means nothing. I'm now of the opinion that it should go to Fox, but there are still several games left so we'll see just how this plays out.

For me Hedman is just better as a defender imo and I have watched alot of NYR games and Fox just lacks the size if you want to compare him with Hedman. Fox should win Hart thou
As a Senators fan… I haven't got to watch a lot of Rangers games, probably watched like 3 matches of the rangers because I was curious about Lafrenière.
Well turns out that the player that grabbed my attention was Adam Fox. And according to those stats, he's having a great season !
I think that he should win the Norris regardless of reputation but the rangers need to make the playoffs first or else the ones who decide the award will not give the Norris to a dmen on a team that missed the playoffs. (Erik Karlsson would've got 3 Norris instead of 2 if that was the case)

It would be great to see a video analyzing the context of this season's division formatting. Comparing stats of these divisions vs those of previous years and discussing whether or not these covid championships really have an asterix
Big johnny carlson from the caps should win it this year he deserves atleast one His team is 1st in the division & he's not getting younger his play, points, plus minus, defence, offence etc speaks for itself Fox is still young will have plenty of chances to win the norris & his team is'nt even in a playoff spot why not go with john carlson or even hedman

I have a video idea (not for playoffs) that I was really hoping you could do. I call it impress or depress. So how it works is you pick the first round of any draft, and you go through the players 1 by 1 saying if they have impressed you or depressed you. (In the video, Depressed means not loving up to expectations). I hope you like my idea, even if you don’t make this a video or series.

As a Lightning fan, I think Hedman is the best defenseman in the NHL but there is no question this is not his best season.
I have a argument. I know that if Stamkos and Kucherov were still playing for Tampa, Hedman would be absolutely a point machine. Fox has a easy job, Pass it to Panarin or Zibanejad and they will score for Fox and He gets a point. But Hedman has to carry this team now. The fact that he has to carry this team and he is producing almost as much as Fox is incredible.
Hedman's face on the photos used in the video says "I will murder you, eat your heart and drink wine from your scull". I feel like it has to make him a better Norris candidate.

Why was every year expect last year about who had the most points on D then all the sudden it was “Carlson doesn’t play Defense” and not this year again it’s who has the most points. Like just give Carlson the award already he deserves it . Can’t tell me Karlsson Burns Subban were actually good at defense either

I feel like a lot of Fox hype comes from people who don't like Hedman. Especially those who have to play against him
Cale Makar needs 5 points in the next 3 games to overtake Adam Fox’s 47 points which currently leads the NHL for defenseman points. He is already probably a Norris finalist, but that would sure up the award for him. With 14 less games played
Even though he has missed a lot of games, I think Makar should really be in the conversation for the Norris.
Here's why:
– He leads the league in P/GP by a lot with 1.05 points per game and is only 4 points behind Fox at this point.
– 70% of his points were goals or primary assists compaired to Adam Fox's 51%.
– He has twice as many hits as Fox, even though he has played 14 games less
– Makar has a better Takeaway-Giveaway ratio than Fox
– Fox clearly leads in blocked shots, but the Avs don't really give up that many shots, especially high quality shots.
At this point I think the only thing you could say against Makar is that he has missed so many games, but while I would not give an award to a player, who has missed a lot of games based on Points per game, I think this becomes a mute point given the fact that Makar is right up there in total points as well.
