He never said that. He said who wouldn't want to play for their hometown. He said didn't know what would happen but if the Canucks called that he would listen. . Misleading info for sure
if he would do a 1 million a year type deal he would be worth it. but veterans usually do these deals with a contending team. he's 35 this year so maybe he'll do it for an affordable price.
