As in, these guys had already travelled there waiting for a presser on the trade. My uncle the night before had called my Dad. My Dad's asks"Where are ya?" My uncle said,"Montreal!" "Why aren't you in New York?" "Don't believe what you read in the news!"

Montreal trading for a young goalie in Askarov makes sense because Nashville has a relatively young Vezina candidate in Saros already. But Buffalo has no stud in net outside of Levi, so this is just a crazy rumor…
The way Kevyn Adams lights up whenever Devon's name is brought up says it all. Its like Levi was the final piece in his recipe and now hes going to sit back and watch it mature. Sure he has to sprinkle in some spices here and there but this team is cookin….cant wait to eat.

Wayne it is great to see Sabres fan from Montreal! Been watching the channel for few years and you do a great job! Habs had greatest team i ever watched, 75-76/76-77 they were 24-4 in playoffs incredible !

I honestly never even heard this rumor. Adams would never trade him after knowing we needed him for the last 2 years. If he ever does get traded it will be because he turns into a Patrick Roy and demands a trade, or a goalie that doesn't live up to expectations. I still hope they hold on to UPL tbh at least for 1 more year.
