Sign him and LTIR? Seems like that’s what all the cool kids are doing.
Vet min plus LTIR and pull the shit tampa does
Great so we traded for a broken down player🤦♂️
Dude looked washed. Either way not the type of guy we need going forward. Not some hard nose grinder who is going to win playoff battles, just another bread man who will shoot some more but otherwise turn it over, not skate hard, and play no defense
I mean it’s not like anyone is really expecting us to resign him for next season unless he for some reason really lowballs it by a lot. And even then.
Eh let him go. Not like he is the difference maker he once was. More interested in trying to sign Tarasenko. He’s a RW still in his prime (ish) age.
Cool, go back to Chicago and play with Bedard. Or anywhere else. Basically just fuck off.
Oh so Kane was hurt the whole time and we let Harpur sit for nothing
If he’s willing to sign a team friendly deal please and thank you
If we even had the space my preference would be Tarasenko over Kane. I wouldn’t be shocked if he came back and played well but I don’t want to rehash those 00’s teams where we were playing past-their-prime superstars to come take up roster space and be a shell of their former selves, which feels like could be the case here.
Hope he does well on his new team
I think this is part of the plan to resign him. Don’t imagine we went through all that to bring him in for 25 games, or whatever it was.
Haha, let’s hope Kane doesn’t get too jealous of Tampa’s golf skills during his recovery.
Idk I don’t think we should be keeping him. No player has come back from this surgery and continued playing much longer. From a comment on /r/hockey :
> This is the same surgery that Backstrom, Jovanovski, and Kesler had. Jovanovski played 37 more games before retiring. Kesler never played another NHL game after having it. Backstrom missed half a season. Hopefully things will be a little different here.
Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out, Showtime.
I’m sure glad we sacrificed the division and played with 4 1/2 D for 2 weeks for a guy with one working hip
Sign him 1 yr, vet discount deal LTIR and we’re fucking golden.
