😂 not a chance. Washington has 4 LHD under 24yrs old in their top7. They're not throwing away the #8 pick on another one. If they're going to pick a Dman it has to be a RHD that eventually replaces Carlson. All 3 of their RHD in the top 7 are over 32yrs old. Drafting a LHD makes no sense for Washington. They need a high end elite offensive piece to build around. The last russian Dman Washington selected in the first round was Alexeyev and he's struggling to even get into the lineup. It has to be Benson or Leonard or Michkov or Smith or one of these guys who can be a top 6 offensive catalyst. Too many good guys at 8 to make a reach like that. If they want a LHD they need to put a package together for a trade and move up with a second 1st round pick to take him.
