Today we’re focusing our sights on three top prospects at the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, and their relationship with the Rögle BK hockey team in the SHL.
It’s Raphael Lavoie—a 2nd round pick by the Edmonton Oilers—who got cut by the team after spending training camp with them, Cole Caufield—drafted by the Montreal Canadiens 15th overall and is one of the most hyped Habs top prospects in general—whom the Rögle BK reportedly want to join their hockey team, and Nils Hoglander—another 2nd round pick at the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, this time by the Vancouver Canucks—who has had a great showing to start off the year with the team.
While each of these top prospects, for the Oilers, Habs, and Canucks all have different stories, it’s quite interesting how the same SHL team can give us the opportunity to talk about them all.

Hoglander is amazing and he has one of the best names too
Another amazing commentary review!
Caufield in the shl will be amazing for his développement
LEGO keep on Rocking. 👍
U realize we already signed hoglander to his entry contract so he’ll be playing this year
There some rumors about the Flyers trying to shed some cap, and the names that come up are always James van Riemsdyk and Shayne Gostisbehere. Maybe something to look into, but I got a hunch the Flyers are up to something big in the trade market
Lego, just wanted to help a little with Swedish pronunciation. The Swedish letter ö sounds like the double o in took or book, not like o as in bow or o as in pot. The letter a always sounds like Ah, but the Swedish letter ä sounds like the a in cat. So Neels Hoog lahn der and Roog le.
Imagine MTL drafting Dylan Holloway and send Caufield and Holloway on a same team. That would be funny
Everyone wants caufield XD
Is Nils Höglander playing in the top 6 for Rögle? If so, which line and is he getting any special teams action? Can’t wait for him to be in a nucks sweater
Did Rogle pay the Oilers for doing the heavy lifting on that logo design?
I think Caulfield going to the SHL would be great.
Montreal should trade Domi to Toronto for Nick Robertson. Domi would love to play in T.O and would probably do well. Nick Robertson is a young and upcoming star who would look great as a Hab.
I agree it would be good for his development. However, Caufield said he wants to play NCAA next year ad playing pro would render him ineligible
I’m watching all you’re videos I missed while doing my online work, life is good
It is unfortunate for Raphael. Cole is very tantalizing. As for Nils, I can see an extra year of development. I think an extra year for Hughes did wonders.
