    The amount of soul crushing narratives that have played out in these playoffs feels higher than usual.

    – Boston blowing their series after a record breaking season

    – Leafs breaking their curse only to be immediately decimated in the following round, potentially starting a brand new curse altogether

    – Winnipeg set to completely scrap their team after a 1st round exit

    – Oilers somehow wasting another year of having two of the greatest players on the planet to 2nd round exit

    – Dallas getting bounced in an embarrassing blow out after raising hopes for a comeback in the series

    And, as a Calgary fan, of course:

    – Flames fans having to watch Tkachuk carry his team on a miracle run to the Stanley Cup final along with Sam Bennett. What could have been…
