Craig Wolanin was an up and coming Goon for the Devils. He had young Bruin Forward Lyndon Byers by three inches and fifty pounds.
Wolanin, not knowing who he was challenging, suckers Byers. Lyndon gets his balance and lands 20 bombs to knock out Wolanin, and effectively end a promising Goons career.
Craig would only have four more fights, and soon be gone from the payroll of the NHL, all because he fought Byers.
Last time I saw Lydon Byers was on an episode of Bar Rescue. He's enjoying his retirement sucking on a cup of suds every day at a local pub, apparently.
