Well, we’re pulling from the same 31 Thoughts article for this one, as Elliotte Friedman puts a very heavy emphasis on the Arizona Coyotes and their overall situation after forfeiting two NHL draft picks. With the future of the Coyotes at stake, is it time for the team to rebuild? And if so, would that entail trading away Darcy Kuemper, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Alex Goligoski, Jason Demers, Niklas Hjalmarsson, Jordan Oesterle, or Jakob Chychrun?

I’d like to see kuemper as back up for the habs
I don’t think we should trade Kuemper. We showed promise in the first half of the year and Kuemps is a franchise face. We need to trade OEL for a better two way guy
No hope for arizona. Cap hell, no fans, no draft picks, no top prospects minus barrett hayton, they were probs gunning for aatu raty in 2021 nhl draft after picking his brother but that hope is basically gone. All they got is Gary Bettman doing whatever he can to keep the team there. I bet if vancouver was caught with this same scouting combine scandal gary would've taken away all the canucks draft picks for the next 3 years or something.
Arizona sucks in general; also Ekman Larson would look good with toronto
OEL is overpaid and look how many years is left… yotes won't be able to trade him unless they eat a HUGE chunk of his contract…
They are stuck between a mediocre team and no draft pick… I guess they can try to acquire value players for next year and hope they get lucky. In that market making the playoffs makes a huge difference. I think they should try to squeeze in.
Kemper to Carolina for Toronto's First Then sign Lehner? 🤔
Antti Raanta for Jake Allen and Robert Bortuzzo?
Most people will think this is bad but I thought this wouldn’t be awful
Having draft picks taken away is not the end of the world. Lots of teams have busts at the top end of the draft, and survive and even do amazingly. They need to do a rebuild, and so making some smart trades to get younger and re-set can turn the team around quickly. They are a laughing stock with little hope, but so was Ottawa, and a lot of people are looking at their upcoming few drafts and raising an eyebrow at the huge injection of youth coming, with some great young pieces already in place.
It will be really hard to rebuild because they don’t have many picks or prospects.
The Yotes have to make some major changes and admit it or not it's their own fault. They are going to have to move some major pieces and at least to some major retooling or they will be meh for a long long time.
Kuemper, No. OEL, why not…
You had me at trading Ekman-Larsson, lost me at trading Kuemps
As a yotes fan I think trading raanta would be better than trading kuemper. Trading oel would be a good way to get draft picks and trading away goligoski, demers, and/or oesterle and starting soderstrom would be a good idea. Also pulling in some young defensemen like jake bean (probably not him but you get the point) would be good. And freeing up cap from oel would make it possible to sign hall.
Should the Blues, flames and capitals be in rebuild??? There’s mores rounds in the draft than first and second lol. The Yotes have some great prospects. Anyone hear of Garland before this season?? They lost to a great Colorado team. Relax.

John Hayden back home to the Chicago Blackhawks home wearing number 40 again for The Buyout Zack Smith
I Like to See John Hayden back home to the Chicago Blackhawks home wearing number 40 in the Indian head again since Robin Lenher took number 40 before Malcolm Subban came as number 30
