  1. If it means losing OEL's contract, I think I would pull the trigger and drop from 11th to 19th. That contract is an anchor that will hinder the Canucks for the foreseeable future….$7.26million until 2026-2027. It's even worse when you say it out loud. But the roadblock is OEL has a NMC…so nothing happens without OEL's approval. Allvin will have to get creative, and shed some contracts before long. Thanks for posting, Trev!

  2. Wouldn't mind that trade if we can't move into the 4-6 range for Michkov. Still would'nt want to move the #35 pick though.

  3. I could live with one more year of Tyler myers 💩 contract. But they must take OEL Garland and a young center coming back. Plus their first and 2 seconds.

  4. OEL has a ntc so he ain’t going nowhere unless Boston wants him unless he has added teams he willing to move to and honestly myers can be traded easily after his 5 mil bonus is paid… personally I think garland and boeser have some value that don’t need a 1st rounder added to a deal to move… I like the idea of them tryin to move up the draft for Leo Carlson but don’t see it… if they trade there 1st it needs to be a big trade losing a contract while bringing a good piece back but hey that’s just my two cents…

  5. I wouldn’t be jumping up and down over this trade but I would be ok with it in the long run, there’s other trades that could happen to allow them to clear up even more space after this too!

  6. Bad deal, but if Blackhawks willing to accept myers + one of the boeser or Garland, it could be consider😅

  7. GO Hawks!!! I would not give up two second rounders I would trade the 19th pick a second round pick and a looping recording of Chelsey's Dagger to remind the Canucks that we owned you in the playoffs during our run

    Thank You

  8. A Hawks fan here – I would be OK with the proposed trade. Ideally I'd like to acquire #11 without giving up #19 by doing something like taking on OEL's contract and one of the other players listed in the proposal. Add in 2nd rounders and/or the TB 2024 1st the Hawks have.

  9. More likely the Canucks only get the 2 2nd round picks and the Hawks keep #19. No way they take on bad contracts and give up all that draft ammo. Keep dreaming Canuck fans!!

  10. I cant see why any team would trade their 11th pick. Not in this draft. Maybe 14 to 18 makes more sense. Then it might be worth 2 seconds and 19 plus getting rid of a contract. Hawks apparently like somebody they think won't be there at 19
My guess is one of the 3 top rated Defenseman or Wood and Barlow. I would stay at 19. A least 2 good players will drop. Someone always reaches.
