i had a bad attitude about eichel, in large part from the shade put on him by sports media that started when he demanded a trade out of buffalo. he is an excellent player and is doing well in the playoffs.
people talk so much smack about Eichel, yall couldnt walk a mile in his shoes.
played half of his 20's with the dogwater sabres, was told he cant choose how to repair his neck, and then when he gets to Vegas hes called a failure bc his first 20 games after NECK SURGERY werent world beating level.
kids a menace on and off the puck and these playoffs have shown it.
McDavid got swept in the WCF, Eichels looking to sweep, they are not the same.
About time the NHL got another Connor in the #1 pick.
Hopefully the Connor Curse (never winning a Cup) will end for him. McDavid has had his moment in the sun and Eichel buried him 5v5 in 4 straight.
Apart from a PP unit that is on loan from Starfleet Command's R&D Dept. they are a middling average team.
Give them an average PP outout from this year and they mightve missed the playoffs.

If you're BUF, do you revaluate your medical staff? You lost a stud over difference of opinion medically. Not money.. Not culture.. Medically. Seems bonkers to me.
The Panthers should be worried , they are about to play an actual team built for the playoffs
