Those two would not improve the Leafs, and if the leafs do trade one of the core they should get back more useful players than those two, and you can always find depth free agents in the off season if required.

I know it's unfair but trade Nylander In the June draft. Don't resign Gustafsson, O'Reilly, Kerfoot, and please don't resign Holl 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🤣🤣🤣. Resign Kampf, Acciari, Bunting, Schenn and Samsonov. Buyout Murray and JT. Fire Keefe. The best gm already signed with teams like Holland, Nill, Sakic and Yzerman their teams not letting them go.
If they trade Matthews we can end up taking a step back and missing the playoffs then it will be more bad and worse then not making out of the 1st or 2nd rd.
