The timing of these 'complaints' makes me think Shanahan is behind this somehow.
Don't like that Montréal/Winnipeg deal. A little to much. Hold.
Dubois for Gallagher, Anderson, Dvorak
Winnipeg should just flip him to Boston. After a year Dubois may want to stay and would haunt Mtl for the next 8 years. Dubois for Suski is a far trade straight up. Also they would get there french speaking captain
Sounds like the Liberal Party of Canada appointed the NHL an ethics commissioner. Bowman and Quennville should never work in the league again after what they did. When’s Graham James getting interviewed for a job?
I wouldn’t trade Anderson straight across for Dubois let alone throwing a first rounder and Dvorak in the mix, especially when you can just wait him out to UFA status and sign him for nothing. Montreal isn’t in a spot where they need to rush to contend next season.

The proposed Jets/Habs trade seems reasonable, given the circumstances. However, instead of Florida's 1st, I'd push for a solid prospect, like Mesar.

What do you think of this trade instead.. Montreal gets PLD and Connor Hellebuyck for Josh Anderson, Mike Hoffman, Christian Dvorak, Jake Allen and the Florida Panthers late first round draft pick?
Montreal should just wait the year out let another team take him for a year and than get him in free agency as the price tag will be too much if I was trading Anderson I’d rather trade him for other assets as his value with other teams if pretty high like Calgary
Realistically if Winnipeg shopped PLD the best they could get is a second and maybe a third or fourth pick plus a player.
Montreal is not giving up prospects or their top players for PLD. They wait a year and PLD joins the HABS.
At best Hoffman plus a second.
No team is giving up a first for PLD.
My belief was Matthews was not going to re-sign with the Leafs even if Dubas was GM.
Dubas was playing high stakes and Shanahan canned him for it. Dubas year end presser was part of Dubas plan to see if he could squeeze Shanahan out of the decision making. (Shanahan should have been sacked by the board long ago).
Leafs should have kept Lou another 1-2 years. People forget Lou took the Leafs from last to 6th (0.640 winning percentage) in two years.
Dubas biggest mistake was wanting to win in his first year rather than taking time to build a team around Matthews.

Your trade offer is the BARE MINIMUM I would consider from Montreal. I d just open it up to all teams and let them negotiate a long term deal. Then it's between Avs, Boston, Rangers, LA, Isles…oh yea, and MAYBE Montreal.
