The Canucks definitely won’t get Forsberg unless they are prepared to let go of Boeser and Miller and would be in a win now type course
The kings would be a good fit for him
That cali state tax is rough
I really want a high draft pick and trading miller for that kinda makes sense if you can replace that talent with forsberg
Kings should go after him hard perfect player for La big physical and skilled back with his buddy arvidson I’d love that move by Blake don’t care what they give up either
Forsberg pettersson Hoglander Swede line wow perfect
Goal scorering forwards decline after 30 years of age. He's almost past his prime and never even posted a 90 point season. This is almost exactly like Loui Eriksson all over again. Would not be happy if Canucks spent 8.5×7 or whatever around those terms it would cost.
Kings can make the cap space by trading Roy and Iafallo. If they do they would have enough space for all RFAs, Forsberg, and a Chychrun trade. He could be a part of a top 6 with Kopitar, Kempe, Arvidsson, Moore, and Danault. Their top 4 would be Mikey/Doughty Chyrun/Durzi.
Forsberg to Buffalo..
Will LA have the cap space? They have to resign Kempe, Anderson and Durzi
This is a preposterous proposal. Ignoring the fact that forsberg never comes close to a full season of games played puts them light years apart in value to a team or gm. But if your trying to generate traffic, i guess its a slick headline.
Don't want Forsberg or anyone good. Want next season to be as bad as possible so we have a shot at Bedard (I know it's hopium).
Id rather just resign Miller
That one is a trap. Guy had a career year on his contract year. That means he will be testing the free agent market for the big payday. That means he doesn't fit the Canucks plans. They already said they want to prey on cap strapped teams once they get some cap room themselves. He probably ends up back on Nashville.
It makes zero sense to consider the Canucks being in the discussion. Mgmt just came out and said they want to create cap space, and get younger and faster. I don't know if Forsberg is fast or not, but he's not young, and he's not going to come cheap. Give your head a shake, folks.
Are the islanders out of the convo????????
Trust the Yzerplan.
All three teams he doesn’t fit on especially Vancouver they will ruin him
He'll make us just good enough to lose in the 1st round of the playoffs. He's younger than Miller, so I guess it's kind of an upgrade, but that's not saying much. we need more guys of Forsberg's calibre who are 25 and younger. We're not winning the cup in the next 2 years, so I don't want to see guys who will be close to over the hill in 3 or 4.
I guess we can dream?
The Mulan opening!!!! Seriously amazing!
Garland for rights to Forsberg to test the water, and then try to extend Miller / Forsberg; if neither players work out, then the Canucks could have setbacks but top picks / cap flexibility.
breaking news Seattle plans to sign Kadri, Forsberg, and Gaudreau on 7 year 10 million dollar deals
It would be nice to see Forsberg playing in LA. Ardvidson is a mainstay and knows Forsberg well. Kings also have over $20 something million to spend.
The health issue is a gamble but i think it's worth the risk. He is just entering his prime years.
Kings have 2 missions this summer. Find a left D stud and a high scoring veteran.
Why do Canuck fans think every player wants to come to Vancouver ? Maybe if enjoys golfing in the spring .
i dont think preds should pay much over 8.5. because this season was a anomaly i love forsberg as a preds fan. i would love and think he should stay for 8. i say he asks for more. preds need scoring. either another 40 goal scorer or some depth scoring.
LA KINGS need some goal scoring. Hope we make a good trade in the off season. Anyone got any mock trades that we could possibly land?
nah legorocks99 i believe at this point Phillip Forsberg is going back to DC
Bruins don't run that top line. it would be Marchand Bergeron (if he re-signs) and Forsberg and a 2nd line with Hall Pasta and whatever C magically slots in the middle.
It's no secret that Forsberg would like to play with his best buddy, Victor Arviddson, who is with the Kings…just saying!
