  1. Every time I watch a clip of this show I ask myself the same question. Is there a clause in Donnie's contract that mandates he interrupt Dhali at least once every 5 seconds?

  2. In the KHL they play a half season, so that million is like a 2 million compared to the NHL. Of course there are risks to Russia( war, old plane transit). Demitria and former NHL stars died in a plane crash like 10 years ago.

  3. Sign Kyle Burroughs please…he fights amd defends his teammates. I went to a game vs the Wild and he was the entertainment.

  4. Kravtsov sucks so no big loss. A little bit of a challenge from Tocchet that he has to put in hard work and he gives them a see you later I'm going to Russia lol. Not the type of player you want in the organization.

  5. no readily apparent indication of a first-round top-tier "kravtsovian" spin-o-rama anywhere to be found … "do svidaniya, vitali" … we hardly knew ye…

  6. And there is the inherent risk of acquiring a Russian player. The moment they don't like anything for whatever reason….off to Russia.

  7. Unfortunate as you want the Canucks to manage his development more. That being said, he's young and the Canucks may still have his rights. Even after 2 years, he will still be younger than Kuzmenko when he signed with Vancouver.

Sometimes a young player just needs to return home for some home cooking from mom and dad, hanging out with friends, etc.

  8. He did the same thing to the Rangers, twice back to Russia. He was a kid that didn't want to work hard for it. That's why Bret Howden played over him.

  9. Glad he can get some playing time in KHL, as he didn't deserve a full-time spot in Van next year, and he clearly doesn't want to play in the AHL. The Canucks need more grit on the forward lines!

  10. This is a good move. We have forward depth and he will gain more playing against mid level players where he can be a top guy.

  11. It is what it is. We took a flyer on a potential bust and it didn't work out. Maybe things change in a year or 2. My only frustration is that the player they took a chance on plays a forward position. This team needs more defensive depth. A 3rd line centre would be nice, but that's not as important as the blueline.

  12. Of all the shit signings allvin has made ffs make a good one and resign Burroughs ffs

  13. You can not blame him, he spent a few months in Vancouver, saw 1st hand the DTES NIGHTMARE and could not wait to get back to the safety of Russia, did not feel like going to work 1 block from David Eby's personal playground for the next 2 years

  14. This team needs to quit trying to gobble up everyone’s failed draft picks. Vancouver is hoping to acquire players, who are already on their second NHL contract, and still haven’t done diddly squat. It’s a hope and a prayer game plan. When you suck, and are also in cap hell, the goal should be trying to get as many draft pics as possible, so that you can install decent young players on ELCs into your lineup. The Canucks have spent the last decade being too impatient to draft and develop players the right way. They haven’t improved at all over the course of all that time, but here they are still doing the same crap. Imagine being at the bottom of the league for that long, and you’re still in cap hell with an empty prospect cupboard? It’s like a never ending bad dream being a Canucks fan. The losing wouldn’t be so bad, if they were actually building towards something. It’s also getting pretty frustrating watching this team constantly fill out it’s roster with very little Canadian content. Where has constantly icing a group of AmeriEuros gotten this franchise over the years?

  15. Would Kravtsov have to clear waivers to be sent to The Baby Canucks next season? If so, Vancouver might be allowing this move in order for him to continue seasoning / development, without losing him to waivers, knowing he's not ready to be a prime-time player yet. This of course is on the assumption that they qualify him with a contract extension, and then… (OR, does he still have to clear waivers to be "lent" to a European team?) I dunno! But he clearly needs to bulk up, to be at all effective in The NHL, as that seemed to be the most obvious flaw to his game when he arrived (getting bounced all over the ice). Good fortune to him!

  16. It boggles me we let walk all the grit this team has mustered in the likes of MacEwan Gadjovich along with heart guys in Stetcher now quiet on the Burroughs front? We need size sure, but he brings it every night.
